Camilo Barria
Camilo Barria, born 1973, crafts fragmented on-location visual journals. He explores the symbolic interplay between images to develop layers of meaning, blending fiction and documentary outside formal linear structures and closer to an architectural palimpsest. His work has been screened at film festivals and institutions such as Film-Maker's Coop New Year/New Work, American Cinematheque's This Is Not a Fiction, Analogica, Martovski Film Festival, New Jersey Film Festival, Rutgers University, West Virginia University, Videodrome, Kinoskop, and the Millennium Film Workshop.
