Passionate about visual storytelling and grounded in the unique textures of Australian life, Liam Stewart is carving out a space in the local indie film scene with a focus on character-driven narratives and dark comedy. Blending observational realism with a satirical edge, their early work explores themes of identity, friendship, and suburban absurdity—often drawing inspiration from lived experience and the strange beauty of everyday moments. With a DIY ethos and hands-on approach, He will write, direct, and often edit his own projects, learning the ropes of the industry while building a strong creative voice. Currently developing a slate of short films and collaborating with other up-and-coming creatives, Liam Stewart is committed to telling bold, grounded, and uniquely Australian stories—both on screen and behind the scenes.
