Gerónimo Gutierrez
Gerónimo Gutiérrez (Buenos Aires, 1998) is a filmmaker who navigates the thin border between dream and reality. Educated at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes and the legendary Escuela de Cine Eliseo Subiela, his work blends emotion, absurdity, and ritual with an unmistakable cinematic pulse. He is the writer and director of El Trino del Diablo (2019), Tres pequeños cartones [...] (2021), and Ya no te amo (...) (2024), films that trace an unsettling map of human desire and despair. Gutiérrez is a restless explorer of genre, paradigm, and audiovisual language, an artist obsessed with the possibilities of cinema as spell, confession, and labyrinth.
