Unscrupulous neighbors are looking for any means to recover these 30 hectares: marry Marie-Paule, offer her a meager profit... But Marie-Paule's heart is set on Pierre, a farmer to whom everything succeeds. But neither of them wants to abandon the land of their ancestors...
