Year 1985. Tehran. Iran-Iraq war. It’s just an ordinary evening at the grandparents’; Grandad is listening to Voice of America on the radio. The glamorous popstar is showing off her strapless, red dress on a poster. Granny is making her little granddaughter a dress. The granddaughter is eagerly waiting for her dress to be made; a dress exactly the same as the popstar’s. Red. With no straps.
