Naples. 1983. Due to bradyseism-related injuries, the women's prison in Pozzuoli is closed and the inmates are temporarily transferred to other penitentiary facilities in the region. Some of these are temporarily housed at the Nisida juvenile prison. Meanwhile, Eduardo De Filippo, appointed Senator for life, travels to Nisida several times, contributes to the renovation of the prison theater, and establishes a stage design and acting school, sending actors from his company to stage the first theatrical production in an Italian juvenile prison.
