During the Southern Song Dynasty, Du Bao, the prefect of the Southern Song Dynasty, had strict family education. Her only daughter, Du Liniang, was elegant and beautiful. In spring, she played in the garden with her maid, Chunxiang, and a hundred flowers bloomed, which turned into a dream. In the dream, she was enjoying the peony pavilion with a handsome scholar. After waking up, she felt lost and died of sadness.
